The existing focal product for EPS is the FX Reactor in-line fuel treatment system currently made for diesel engines. The apparatus performs as a self-refining unit, further improving the fuel’s molecular properties for more efficient consumption. The result is a higher quality fuel that produces more energy, improving engine power, fuel economy, and in turn, reduces the overall environmental impact. No outside energy sources are required for operation and the process is totally maintenance free. On most vehicles installation is fairly simple and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. An aftermarket part, the device does not void any Original Equipment Manufacturer warranties and comes with its own 5-year warranty.
Technology
The FX Reactor is primarily designed to set up a multi-phase process that exposes the fuel to proprietary engineered flow patterns and internal catalysts. This process allows for the controlled restructuring of fluids to a more beneficial molecular state for optimal performance.
This improvement is evident in comparing the chemical and physical properties bench test results of both raw fuel and fuel treated by the FX Reactor. Through the FX Reactor’s proprietary engineered flow patterns and exposure to internal catalysts, longer hydrocarbon chains are ‘cracked’ into shorter chains and refined for a cleaner more complete burn of the fuel.
Performance
Already used in excess of 300 million miles both on the road and in labs, the FX Reactor has continually proven to reduce diesel fuel consumption. The FX Reactor diesel fuel treatment product has been extensively tested by two Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized laboratories and a high performance engine test facility: Olson-EcoLogic Engine Testing Laboratories, LLC in Fullerton CA, Roush Emission Laboratory in Livonia, MI and Competition Engines Development, LLC in Colorado Springs, CO. In those tests, the engines showed improvements of 3-11% in fuel consumption, up to a 52% reduction in the emissions of Nitrogen Oxide, and up to a 25% decrease in Carbon Monoxide discharge.
Marketing
The current FX Reactor has proven most efficient in heavier, large engine, on and off road diesel vehicles. EPS is currently working on different sized models of the FX Reactor designed to fit all engine sizes. The gasoline FX Reactor, which needs to be specialized in order to ensure safe use with the more volatile gasoline fuel product, has nearly reached completion.
EPS has sold over 5,000 FX Reactor units to date. Several Fortune 500 companies including Martin Marietta Materials, Smith & Co., MP Nexlevel, LLC, and Waste Management Corp use the technology. EPS has also sold the FX Reactor to companies outside of the U.S. and there is interest from several countries in regards to distribution agreements.
The Company plans to have 50 distributors in the United States. Each distributor is selected based on stringent criteria including revenue minimums and experience with national automotive brands. Distributors will continue to sell the diesel FX Reactor and add a potential gasoline version for commercial fleets and personal use.
